Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions govern the use of www.iWantLoads.com and are binding on iWantLoads and all Users of the platform. In the absence of an explicit written agreement to the contrary signed by both parties, these terms shall apply exclusively.

www.iWantLoads.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Facilitator") is an online load-posting and transport marketplace platform through which customers (hereinafter referred to as "Shippers") may post loads for transportation, and registered transport companies (hereinafter referred to as "Transporters") may submit quotations for those loads. Shippers may compare and accept any quotation submitted. All payments are made upfront into the Facilitator's escrow account and are only released to the Transporter upon confirmed delivery or submission of a valid Proof of Delivery (POD).

The Facilitator does not provide transport or logistics services and is not affiliated with any carrier, association, or group. iWantLoads provides solely the digital marketplace and escrow mechanism. A nominal platform fee may apply per transaction.

By registering on www.iWantLoads.com, you consent to iWantLoads, its subsidiaries, and partner companies communicating with you via email, SMS, and/or other channels. Such communications may include load notifications, quotation updates, and marketing material.

CONTENT USAGE POLICY

All content on www.iWantLoads.com — including text, images, graphics, and videos — is the property of iWantLoads (Pty) Ltd and is protected under applicable copyright law. No part of this website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or publicly displayed without the prior written permission of the Facilitator. Unauthorised use of any content may result in civil and/or criminal legal action. For permission requests, please contact us directly.

LOADS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Shippers are solely responsible for the accuracy of all load details submitted to the platform, including weight, volume, pickup and delivery addresses, timing, and any special handling requirements or restrictions.

Transporters are responsible for the safe carriage of goods, maintaining adequate insurance cover, and ensuring timely delivery. The Facilitator assumes no responsibility for the goods being transported. Once carriage commences, ownership and responsibility for the load rests with the Shipper and Transporter respectively.

DELIVERY & CONFIRMATION

Risk and responsibility for a load pass between the Shipper and Transporter at the designated pickup and delivery points. Shippers are required to confirm delivery within 48 hours of completion. Transporters must submit a valid POD upon delivery. Should a Shipper fail to confirm delivery within the stipulated period, the Facilitator reserves the right to auto-release payment to the Transporter after a set period.

DISPUTES

The Facilitator is indemnified from any claims arising between a Shipper and a Transporter. All disputes must be lodged within 48 hours of delivery and will be mediated in accordance with the iWantLoads Refunds & Disputes Policy.

LOAD SPECIFICATIONS & CONDITIONS

Shippers must ensure that all load details — including dimensions, weight, hazardous material status, and special handling requirements — are accurate and complete prior to posting. Transporters are responsible for providing appropriate vehicles and equipment for the load as described. Any discrepancies in load specifications must be resolved directly between the Shipper and the Transporter, and the Facilitator accepts no liability in this regard.

REGISTRATION

By registering on www.iWantLoads.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all privacy, acceptable use, and general terms and conditions of the platform and its partner companies. Transporters are required to provide valid business registration documentation, proof of insurance, and verified banking details before any payouts will be processed.

FORCE MAJEURE

The Facilitator shall not be held liable for delayed or interrupted deliveries arising from force majeure events, including but not limited to strikes, accidents, severe weather, civil unrest, or other circumstances beyond the Facilitator's reasonable control. Communication regarding any such delays remains the responsibility of the Shipper and Transporter.

PERFORMANCE

Should a Transporter fail to perform — including through non-delivery, unjustified late delivery, load rejection, or inadequate service — the Facilitator reserves the right to cancel the booking, issue a refund to the Shipper, and suspend or permanently remove the Transporter from the platform.

The Facilitator shall not be held liable for any costs or losses incurred by either the Shipper or the Transporter as a result of such failures.

CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT

All transactions on www.iWantLoads.com operate on a Cash on Order (COO) basis. Full upfront payment into the Facilitator's escrow account is required before any booking is confirmed.

Funds are held securely in escrow and released to the Transporter only upon confirmed delivery or submission of a valid POD. In the event of a dispute, payment may be withheld pending resolution in accordance with the Refunds & Disputes Policy.
